We confirm coverage and match
We check that screened, independent contractors actually cover your area. If they do, your request is shared with at most 3 of them — never sold broadly. If they don't, we say so instead of matching you badly.

Contractors contact you directly
Matched contractors reach out, ask their own follow-up questions, and schedule site visits. From this point the conversation is yours and theirs — we don't sit in the middle of your negotiation.

Compare written estimates and decide
Each contractor provides their own written estimate, contract and warranty terms. You compare them on equal footing and hire whoever earns it — or nobody. There's no obligation and no fee for homeowners.
How we're paid — disclosed plainly
HVACandRoof is a lead-generation marketplace operated by HVAC and Roof Corp — we match your request with screened, independent contractors; we are not the contractor performing the work. Contractors in the network are independent businesses that own their licenses, estimates, contracts and warranties. HVACandRoof may receive a disclosed fee or commission from contractors for qualified requests or completed jobs. This never changes the price of asking for a match, which is free for homeowners.

Every contractor in the network is an independent business. They own their licenses, estimates, contracts, workmanship, warranties, Google Business Profiles and advertising. HVACandRoof screens for credentials and match quality — see exactly what screening includes — but hiring decisions, pricing and the work itself are between you and the contractor you choose.
