My mini-split is leaking water — is that an emergency?

Usually it's a blocked condensate drain or a dirty filter rather than a refrigerant problem, but water near electronics and drywall shouldn't wait long. Turn the unit off, protect the wall and floor, and describe the leak in your request so the matched technician can prioritize it.

Will a repair void my manufacturer warranty?

Manufacturer warranties typically require service by qualified technicians, and some require the original installing dealer for warranty claims. Mention the brand, age and installer in your request — a screened technician can tell you whether a warranty path applies before you pay for a repair.

Repair or replace — how do I decide?

Age, refrigerant type, parts availability and the cost of the specific failure all matter. A compressor failure on a 15-year-old system points differently than a drain clog on a 3-year-old one. Do you charge for matching me with a technician?
