Refer a homeowner. Earn when the job is done.
If people ask you who to call about a mini-split, a furnace or a roof, this is a way to be paid for the introduction. You send them to HVACandRoof, we match them with screened independent contractors, and when a job is completed and paid you earn 20% of our fee on it.
20% of our fee, not of the job
Your commission is a share of what HVACandRoof earns on a completed job — never a markup on the homeowner's price. Referring someone cannot make their project cost more, which is the only version of this we were willing to publish.
A link, a QR code and a phone number
Approved partners get a referral link and a printable QR code straight away, and a tracking phone number once we assign one — so a referral counts whether the homeowner clicks, scans or calls.
First touch, 90 days
Homeowners take weeks to decide. Credit goes to the first partner who introduced them, any time inside a 90-day window — a later click by someone else does not take your introduction away from you.
A ledger you can read
Your portal shows every commission, its status, and — when it is not payable yet — exactly why. An unexplained delay is how referral programs lose people's trust, so we show the reason instead.

How it works, end to end
- Step 1
Apply
Sign in with your email and tell us the name you want to appear under. Applying is free and commits you to nothing.
- Step 2
Get approved
A person reviews every application. Your link starts working the moment you are approved — not before.
- Step 3
Share it
Send the link, print the QR code, or hand out the number. The homeowner gets the same free planning estimator and the same screened contractors as anyone else.
- Step 4
They get matched, and hire
The request goes to at most 3 screened independent contractors, who quote and perform the work themselves. Nothing is owed to you at this stage — a lead is not a job.
- Step 5
The job completes and the contractor pays
Your commission is earned once the job is finished and the qualifying payment has cleared, then held 30 days against refunds and chargebacks before it becomes payable.
- Step 6
You get paid
HVAC and Roof Corp pays its own partners directly, in batches, and records the payment reference. Your commission is never netted against money owed by anyone else.
The parts most programs leave out
- Approval is a decision, not a formality. Applications are reviewed by a person, and an account can be paused if referrals stop being genuine introductions.
- You cannot refer yourself. Requests for your own property, or from the account you sign in with, are excluded automatically — along with duplicate requests and repeat calls already credited to someone else.
- Commissions reverse. A refund, chargeback, cancellation or fraud finding reverses a commission even after it has been paid. The ledger records the reversal rather than deleting the row.
- You are not a salesperson for a contractor. Partners introduce homeowners to the marketplace. Selling, quoting or negotiating home-improvement work on a contractor's behalf is separately regulated in several states, and this program is not that — where local rules restrict paying for referrals, we do not run it.
- A lead is not a job. Most requests never become paid work. Nothing is owed on a click, a call or a submitted request.
Applying takes you to a sign-in screen first — the partner portal, your referral tools and your commission ledger all live behind that one account.
